In some cases, insurance covers some or all of this. Some seniors do have enough money to do this and pay their bills also.

many if not all home care service providers have case managers that work with the client regarding finances to find financial assistance to obtain home care services. In many cases, when a senior has a fixed, low income, the services are paid for by government assistance programs either thru medicaid or eisep or other programs, as home care is less expensive than other institutional options.
